The time is right for us to consider the “village” we each assemble for ourselves and work within.  We do so at a pivotal point in history; Canada’s population is aging at a fast pace. For the first time, the number of persons aged 65 years and older has exceeded the number of children aged 0 to 14.  We know caring for anyone is best done in teams and within a community. This is especially true in the care of older adults.

Our current care realities ask us to consider questions such as: How do we go about supporting the unique and complex care needs of older adults? And, how do we think outside the box and bring together minds, hands, and hearts to shift the perception and care of older adults? Our line-up of dynamic, innovative and compelling speakers will stimulate conversations for change and awaken your passion for the work that we do.
